And, after about 30 minutes on the phone, trying to figure out what I
was doing wrong, as it turns out (and I could kick myself for not
thinking of this sooner)....

I was over feeding them!

Can you believe it? All this time, and the answer was that simple!

So I adapted a more strict diet for these plants, and began feeding
them only what they needed...
And I'm so glad, that I didn't give up, because here is what I
discovered that following spring...

FLOWERS!!

I was like a kid in a candy store, outside every morning for a week
taking happy snaps!

I was so excited, I loaded up on Tall Bearded Iris, and surrounded my
house with them!

I must've spent 100s of dollars, but hey, I figured it was money well
